Wang's Streak Comes to an End...

Majors:
Chien-Ming Wang earned a ND tonight versus the Chicago White Sox. Wang pitched 5 innings, giving up 7 hits, 4 earned runs, with 2 walks and a K. Wang's 19 scoreless innings ended in the second inning when the Sox struck for 3 runs. Wang left the game with the score knotted up at 4 runs a piece. Wang's ERA now stands at 3.69. Box It was a great run while it lasted! Time to start up a new streak Wang!!

Minors:
Jacksonville lost 3-1. Hu was 1-4, as his team collectively had 3 hits the entire game. Box

With his team leading 6-5, Lo was 0-1 with a SB before being replaced by a pinch runner. Hopefully he didn't get hurt stealing his 15 base on the season for Wisky. Box

Chiang was 0-4 for the GCL Red Sox as they won 4-2. Box

i watched the game tonight. Wang didnt do that bad but he seemed kind of off today. I guess we shouldnt expect him to play perfectly every game since every pitcher has bad games. good luck to wang in the rest of the season. i hope he'll play well his next game.

At times, he seems to try too hard, trying to hit the corners and get behind in the count. Perhaps he was a little intimidated by the Chisox line-up. Oh well. Plenty of starts left. Go Wang!

Yea, all good things have to come to an end sometime. Wang will bounce back the next time out.
