Twin Billing on Thursday...

As mentioned in the comments section, Wang and Kuo will both make their next projected starts this Thursday.
Chien-Ming Wang will start against Jamie Shields of Tampa Bay. I don't want to jinx Wang, but his chances of getting win #18 are pretty good. Wang has already faced TB 3 times this season. He is 2-0 with a 1.12 ERA and threw his first complete game (shutout) on July 28th against the same lineup. The Yankees have already seen Shields this season and won against him. Throw in the fact that Wang is 10-2 at home with a 2.76 ERA while Shields is 2-5 with a 5.52 ERA away, and it would seem as if things are looking pretty good for Wang. Then again, we'll have to see what happens Thursday!

Hong-Chih Kuo will get his second career start against the Chicago Cubs, with the starter TBD later. The game will be broadcast at 11:00 AM Pacific on FSN-Prime or WGN. Might as well set those DVR's!

Here's to hoping that both guys shine and come out with a win!

The most recent Sporting News has jumped onto the Wang/Kuo bandwagon with a brief mention about each kid:
