4/1 CPBL Scoreboard....

CPBL:
Bears 3 - Whales 2 (11):
The Bears would win the game in the bottom of the 11th to help secure 2nd place in the CPBL standings and drop the Whales a half game behind them. Game MVP honors went to Bears 3B Chih-Wei Shih who had the only multi-hit game for his team. Shih was 3-5 with a double. SS Chih-Sheng Lin had the only RBI for his team (0-2 with 2 walks and a RBI). Starter Keving Huang would earn a ND despite a strong performance - 7 IP, 2 R (1 ER), 8 H, 4 K's , 3 BB's.
Whales Starter Wei-Ming Chu also pitched well in his ND, giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits over 7 IP - to go along with 4 K's, and 3 BB's. For the Whales, RF Abraham Nunez was 2-5 with 2 RBI's/ 1B C. Villalobos was 0-5/ C Hsin-Min Wang was 3-5 with a double/ SS Che-Wei Kang was 2-6.

The Elephants/Bulls game was rained out and will be made up on April 7th.

March CPBL MVP's:
Pitcher - Feng-Hua Lee (Bears) - 2W - 2 L, 3.375 ERA, 18.2 IP - 11 K's/4 BB's (Beat out Yu-Cheng Liao (Elephants) who is top 5 in Wins (2), ERA (1.93), and K's (14).)
Hitter - Lien-Hung Chen (Lions) - Making little brother (CFC) proud, LH hit .308, leads the league with 4 HR's, and is 2nd in the league with 12 RBI's. (Beat out Long-Yi Huang (Bears) who leads the league in BA (.419), H (18), tied for 2nd in HR's (2), top 5 in RBI's (9) & Steals (3).)

Wang outpitched Roy Halladay for the W today with a solid 7 innings of 2 run ball. He also had 2 K's.
