*The finals for the Hsieh-Hui Cup are set. Taiwan Coop Bank defeated Taiwan Power 4-1 in one semifinal, while the Fubon Bulls lost to Taiwan Beer 5-1.
Rong-Hao Hsieh started for the Fubon Bulls but was touched up for 3 runs in the 4th inning, thus leading to an early exit from the game. He earned the loss.
*The Shikoku-Kyushu Island League, an independent league in Japan, is coming to Taiwan December 19th to hold tryouts. Players in the league make on average ~$1,000 to $4,000/month.
